The LRA blood test makes it possible to examine the general health of a patient’s immune system by measuring delayed allergy responses to foods, food additives, preservatives and more. It is an important tool to address the causes under chronic disease symptoms.

Our immune system has important and broad defense and repair capabilities in our general health and wellness. If either the defense or the repair function becomes overburdened or overstressed, immune dysfunction may result. The effect of immune system dysfunction can result in chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases that often defy treatment. When our immune system is chronically unwell we suffer from chronic disease and autoimmune disorders.

The most common assaults to our immune system on a daily basis that pose the greatest burden are digestive remnants and environmental antigens.

What is LRA by ELISA/ACT blood test?
Lymphocyte Response Assays are able to monitor delayed hypersensitivity responses to over 500 common substances (antigens). The tests identify reactive substances which may be provoking the patient’s chronic condition, burden the immune system and cause interference in the patient’s quality of life.

This LRA by ELISA/ACT method identifies only reactive lymphocytes, providing the most accurate and specific results possible. It identifies the patient’s specific sensitivities (delayed allergies) that It identifies the symptom provoking reactive substances, not merely the presence of antibodies, which can be false positive results which need no food or substance treatment plan attention.

Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cells in the immune system’s defense system that can get burdened due to the effects of foreign antigens which further burden the repair system process and weaken the body’s ability to fight off further food and environmental assaults. The LRA tests look directly at the three delayed hypersensitivity pathway responses of the lymphocyte: Type II, Type III and Type IV.

Based on this test information a precise, personalized treatment plan put into action can eliminate these antigen loads and sensitivities (delayed allergies) and restore overall health.
